Slowly but surely!

So even with a finish so close, I'm in a bit of a stitching mojo funk. I'm not really sure why, other than it hits the best of us from time to time. I'm still stitching; but just an hour here and there really. Ugh. Maybe I need a new start to kick me into high gear?

I am getting really close to being able to bead Queen Mermaid though. Here she is.

Arms and head done....most of the hair (although I'm short one color - ack!)...her gift and some seaweed to do as yet.

She is coming along very nicely. I know what you mean when the "mojo funk" hits. Don't know why, it just does. And all we can do is force a few stitches here and there. Maybe starting a new piece will give you what you need to get back to her and just whizz right through her. She is looking great!

She looks nice, and I think you're stitching quite quick.

Love, Babs

She is looking gorgeous!

Maybe you can use this time (off from stitching) to enjoy other activities. I think we, stitchers, get into too much of a rut at times with out stitching and we need to see the world occasionally.

What color do you need? If I have it, I'll be happy to mail you a skein.

that was supposed to read "with OUR stitching"

She is so pretty! I did this one for my sister last year and loved working on it.

I hope that you get through your loss of mojo soon. You almost have her finished and then it will be on to something else!!

Thank you so much for following me and let me tell you your stitching is outstanding and I am almost tempted to put my beading down and pick up my cross stitching again!
