Yes, yes...I'm still working on Sleeping Beauty. I just haven't felt like changing projects as yet, and she's growing nicely now. I still have a lot of areas that I haven't completed and need to go back and fill in, and there are plenty more roses to do.
I'm currently working to finish off the bottom of the green swirly part of the bedding. I'll be glad when that's done.I got the roses across the top finished, but there are a lot more scattered around that need to be completed. You can also see where the top border on the right is starting to curve down, so that gives a better idea of final dimensions.
I will putting her away on Friday to move along to the next piece, but next time around that she's in rotation, I'll be finishing her.
Sleeping Beauty is coming along wonderfully. I'm enjoying following your progress!
ReplyDeleteshe is so beautifull, I can imagine it being hard to stop working on her !
ReplyDeleteI just realize you haven´t done her face yet, are you saving that for last ?
She's so beautiful, I'm going to be sorry to see you put her away. I've got all the supplies for her - and have for years. Seems like a crime, doesn't it?
ReplyDeleteStunning!
ReplyDeleteLOL Yes, it IS a crime to have projects kitted but not even started. Don't your fingers itch to just think about it? I know I'd love to dig into my kitted projects drawer and start a new one (because I need to do that, right?)
ReplyDeleteI do tend to leave the faces until last most of the time. I get a little freaked out working on a project with her staring back at me...LOL
wonderful progress. Makes me want to pull out mine and start it. I am enjoying the updates on this one.
ReplyDeleteIt looks very lovely. Do you rotate a piece for a week or how do you rotate?
ReplyDeleteThanks all!
ReplyDeleteI try to work on a piece for a week then move on to the next, if for no reason other than giving all my projects a little love on a regular basis. Doesn't always work that way though LOL
